Keynote Speakers

Jady Nugent

During this session, Jady plans to use her breath of experience to provide an in-depth outlook on our role as food service managers and supervisors.

Jady Nugent has been a registered dietitian for over fourteen years here in Canada and the United States. After graduating from the Ryerson University Food and Nutrition program she obtained her Master of Health Sciences from the University of Toronto. She has had a wide range of experience in public health, industry and education. However, her main passion remains within the realm of senior care.

Jady has experience as a corporate dietitian in both the public and private long term care sectors where she utilized her expertise in menu and policy development within food service departments, and in the advancement of quality assurance initiatives. She went on to provide consultation services to long term home settings by completing dietary audits. Later on as a clinical dietitian in long term care, she had the opportunity to experience many types of these protocols from a practical perspective. Jady’s most recent role as a long term care home inspector with the ministry brings a very robust perspective to our session.

Jayne Harvey

Jayne Harvey, Owner & CEO of FCS International travels extensively as a consultant, facilitator and educator. An RN with over 30 years’ experience specializing in senior care and client advocacy, Jayne’s training provides practical strategies and tools while respecting existing expertise and resources within the organization.  Teams are often defined not by the good times, rather by the effort and cohesiveness during the tough times. The Team outcome is often reflective of the strength of the individuals who make the team and the underlying core values that motivate the Team and how people align with the Team. This session helps participants to step back and better understand the value of Team, the strength & limitations of the Team and how to move forward and reinforce the best of their Team.
