The dietitians of Canada gerontology network is a national network representing 545 + registered dietitians working with the elderly in long term care settings across Canada. The gerontology network acts as a resource through the provision of education opportunities and evidenced based nutrition information to support registered dietitians as they strive for excellence in the delivery of nutritional care of residents in long term care. The dietitians of Canada dysphagia assessment and treatment network representing over 225 registered dietitians across Canada.
The goal of the dysphagia assessment and treatment network is to help define, expand and secure the dietitian’s role in the assessment, management and treatment of dysphagia within the health care team and to promote sharing of expertise and resources to build capacity within Canadian dietitians. We are very excited about our first ever joint workshop!
