Graduates of this program will be prepared for an operations leadership role within a Senior Living residence. This combination
instructor-facilitated, online and on-campus program provides the education, application, and hands-on training necessary to
be successful in the ever-growing Senior Living industry. This program is ideal for those already in the Senior Living industry and
wanting to increase their level of responsibility, and/or those desiring to capitalize on related industries experience in order to
shift career paths. The program is designed for the working professional, with flexibility to complete studies each week on their
own schedule.

  • A key component of the program will include a customized guided mentorship experience.
  • Although many components are delivered online, a hands-on and practical experience approach to learning will be applied through the use of technology and a 4-day on-campus stay. This delivery approach will allow for a meaningful distance-learning experience while not compromising the benefits derived from one-on-one and group interaction.
  • Students can choose single courses for personal development or complete all 6 courses in order to gain their certificate in Active & Healthy Senior Living Operations (Retirement Home Management).
