The Dietitians of Canada Gerontology Network is a national network representing 565+ Registered Dietitians working with the elderly in long term care and health care settings across Canada. The Gerontology Network acts as a resource through the provision of education opportunities and evidenced based nutrition information to support Registered Dietitians as they strive for excellence in the delivery of nutritional care of residents in long term care.

    Environmental sustainability of food production is a growing area of interest for consumers around the globe. Dietitians are eager to understand the complexity and facts around sustainability and development of nutritious and healthy diets.

    You will have the opportunity to listen to internationally recognized speakers on this topic including from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, McGill University, the University of California, Davis and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
