Student Members: Apply | Bursaries | Accredited Programs

Each year, the Ontario Society of Nutrition Management awards one student enrolled in a CSNM accredited Nutrition Management program with a bursary to help them with the cost of their studies.

In order to apply for the bursary, the applicant must submit:

  • a copy of the applicant's first year academic record
  • a 500 word essay
  • a copy of the applicant's recent resume
  • an application form and a program coordinator/mentor evaluation form which is to be filled out by the applicant's program coordinator.

These items must be returned to the OSNM office no later than June 30th of each year.

  • Published Qindex study highlights quality in LTC homes

    The Association is pleased to announce that last year’s Qindex research conducted in partnership with the University of Toronto has now been published in Longwoods’ Healthcare Quarterly.

    The Qindex is a composite metric of the nine publicly reported CIHI quality indicators (falls, antipsychotic use, pain, worsened pain, restraint use, worsened physical functioning, improved physical functioning, depression, and pressure ulcers).
